Wood scraps Violin
This project is an ungoing exploration of instruments making that originated from two personnal cravings. The first one was to reconnect with my musical education (violin and viola) after stoping for a few years.
But being a student implies unpractical time schedjules to play without disturbing my roomates.
Which leeds me to the second part of this project. How can I make for myself a very affordable violin that I could play at any time of the day ?
Using electronics allows me a more free exploration of the materials, taking away the need of a specific shape for it to work.
The purpose was not only to make an instruments but also a first step into creating a process of DIY instruments.
The first instruments being finished, this projects now continues trough the exploration of different materials such as 3D printing of other methods of wood working.
